Step 1: make the filling
Cook the skin like making omelette
Fold the filling inside the skin like the above picture.
Prepare the breadcrumbs, place it on top of a plate. We like using this panko breadcrumbs instead of the regular one because it is less messy for deep frying
Use one hand to dip the risoles inside egg whites, then use the other one to cover it with breadcrumbs
Deep fry until golden then eat with thousand island dressing and chili sauce. Yummmm

The Filling
Ingredients:
1 Tb of oil
200 gr chicken meat - cut into
small cubes (1x1 cm)
5 small size shallot, 3 garlic,
- minced
2 carrot - cut into small cubes
(1/2 x 1/2 cm)
2 onion leaves, cut into small
pieces
1.5 cups all-purpose flour
400 ml milk
1/2 cup chicken broth
Salt, pepper, sugar - as
preferred
Cheese, about 2 slices
Optional: 2 boiled eggs slice into small
pieces
Direction to make the
filing:
Heat the pan, once the pan is
hot, add the oil, when the oil is hot, stir fry the garlic, shallots, and meat.
When the meat is cooked, add
the chicken broth, milk, flour. Continue cooking, stirring, and adding in the
rest of the ingredients. Adjust the taste with salt, pepper, and sugar.
The Skin:
Ingredients:
250 grams of all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
300 ml water + 200 ml milk
2 eggs
Oil, enough for making the skin
Directions to make the skin:
In a large mixing bowl, put in all the ingredients except the oil
Whisk until well mixed.
Strain the mixture unto other large bowl
Heat a non-stick skillet
Add a little oil then cook the skin like making omelet
Once it's cooked, just flip it over onto a plate.
Repeat the above steps until all the mixture are gone.
Other ingredients:
Regular breadcrumbs or Panko breadcrumbs
3 egg whites
Oil enough for deep frying
Final steps:
Put about one heaping tablespoon of the filing + few slices of the
boiled egg onto the skin
Use the flour mixture as glue so the folding doesn't unravel
Use one hand to dip the Risoles inside egg whites, then use the
other one to cover it with breadcrumbs
Deep fry until golden
Eat with your favorite sauce (we like Thousand Island and Thai
Sweet Chili Sauce)
