Risoles was my favorite Indonesian snack growing up. I'm so glad that my boys like it too. I just wish it is easier to make so I can make this often. Anyway, I was making some last week and planning to save some in the freezer but all are gone within 3 days. My mom' sister made the best risoles I ever taste but as typical older Asian woman she doesn't measure her ingredients just approximate she said. Well, approximate doesn't work well for me. I got to make this a few times to get the result turned out as how she made it. Thank you auntie for the inspiration.

Ever since I moved to California I have been a fan of boba milk tea. If you never had one, you are missing out! I would love to to consume this every day but it wouldn't be good for my health and wallet. Thankfully, our baker friend shared with us her tips and tricks to make boba milk tea at home for a fraction of its price. First thing first get the right tapioca pearl:

A little while ago my friend, Sukma made the thin and crispy version of the oatmeal cookies and shared it with us. We like it so much that I asked for the recipe and she kindly shared it with me. It is a nice change to the chewy ones we usually make.
