Banana Chocolate Cheese Bread is my favorite bread growing up but I couldn't find it here in the States so I decided to make it myself. It's been a long time since I last made this. With the kids activities, baking has been placed in the back burner but we managed to make this yesterday because we were all sick and couldn't go any where. The boys were so happy and couldn't wait to eat them once they were out of the oven.
Use kitchen aid or bread maker to knead the dough. Cover and let it proof for about 1 hour
Divide the dough into 12 small balls then start filling and shaping each one.

Letting them proof the second time. Then bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
Ready to be enjoyed:

ingredients:
Water roux (tanzhong) ingredients:- 30 grams bread floor
- 70 millimeter water
- 70 millimeter milk
The bun ingredients
- 125 ml warm milk
- 2 teaspoons yeast
- 350 grams bread flour + more for dusting
- 70 grams sugar
- a pinch of salt
- 1 egg - lightly beaten
- 30 grams butter - softened
- 1 banana divided into 10-12
- Chocolate chips
- cheese
- 1 egg white

How to make Banana Chocolate Cheese Bun
For water roux (tanzhong):
For the bread (if using breadmaker):
- Place flour and milk in a small pan the pan. Heat the pan over low to medium heat.
- Cook while whisking constantly until the mixture is thicken, about 3-5 minutes.
- Let it cooled.
- Place the warmed milk and yeast inside the bread maker. Leave it for about 2 minutes before dumping the rest of the ingredients including water roux (tanzhong) inside.
- Set the bread maker setting to “basic dough” option. Let it rise inside the bread maker
- Dust your working space with flour, Punch the air out, divide the dough into 10-12 portion, knead and shape each one into a ball.
- Take one portion, flatten it out with hand or rolling pin. Place the banana, chocolate chips, and cheese then wrap up the filling. Let it proof for another hour in a warm place.
- After the buns are ready to be baked, brush the dough with egg whites.
- Bake at 350 Fahrenheit for about 15 minutes or until the buns are golden brown
If using kitchen aid:
- Place the first 7 ingredients, in the order listed, inside a bread machine set on dough cycle (or kitchen aid with a dough hook attachment set at speed 1 for 30 minutes).
- Cover the mixing bowl with a cloth napkins then leave it in a warm place. I put mine inside a preheated 200 degree Fahrenheit oven, turn it off. Let the dough proof inside the warm oven for one hour.
