Fried Meatballs {Indonesian Bakso Goreng}

My local mom shared with me this Fried Meatballs' recipe. I cooked this last weekend after we are done with coughing and made the boys very happy.

The process:
Mix all the ingredients together

Use two spoons to make small balls, about 1 inch in diameter

Heat the oil then deep fried the meat balls until golden or cracked. Eat as appetizer with sweet soy sauce and chili sauce or enjoy with soup

ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground pork or beef
  • 10 shrimp - thaw, peeled, cut into small pieces (about 0.5 centimeter)
  • 10 ounces of tapioca flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper
  • Vegetable Oil - enough for deep frying

How to cook Indonesian Fried Meatballs / Bakso Goreng

  1. In a large mixing bowl, Mix all the ingredients together with large fork / wooden spatula
  2. Use two spoons to make balls, about 1 inch in diameter
  3. Heat the oil.
  4. Deep fried the meat balls until golden or cracked (about five minutes)
