I used to think that tiramisu is one of those thing that's too complicated to make until my friend told me that it's not. All I need are the right ingredients and I am ready to go. I tried three different recipes before settling with this one, which is a combination of those three. :)
The ingredients:
Mixture A: egg + sugar + marsala wine
Boil water in a small pan then put the glass mixing bowl and continue to whisk and cook
Wesley is now big enough to handle this part
Let it chilled:
Mix the heavy cream
Add the mascarpone cheese and mixture A
Now it's assembly time
Dip the lady fingers inside coffee mixture about 2 seconds each side
top with the cream mixture, repeat layers
Chilled overnight, then sprinkle with chocoa powder when you're ready to eat it:
Give it a try. I promise it tastes better than the store bought one. ;)

How to cook Homemade Tiramisu
- Zabaglione or let's just call it Mixture A:
- Boil water in a small pan.
- Choose a glass mixing bowl that's big enough to 'sit' on (not sink inside) the pan. Put the bowl inside the pan, then add in the sugar and egg yolks, whisk and cook over simmering water for about 3 minutes.
- Add the Marsala wine, continue to cook and whisk the mixture for about 5 minutes 'till the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Move the bowl from double broiler into a big bowl or sink filled with cold water. Let it chilled
Mixture B:
- Whip the heavy whipping cream with electric mixer 'till nice and thick
- Add the mascarpone cheese and mixture A then whisk again with mixer only for a few seconds.
The assembly:
- Dip in ½ of the lady fingers one by one - 2 seconds each side- into the coffee mixture then assemble it on the container.
- Spread half of the cream mixture on the top of the lady fingers
- Repeat step 1 and 2
- Cover and let it chill overnight in the refrigerator
- Sprinkle with chocolate powder or grated chocolate
