Homemade Green Smoothies / Popsicles

Friday, June 2, 2017

I first heard about green smoothies from my neighbor Silvi. She told me that all I have to do is adding a handful of spinach when I make smoothies. I was worried about the taste but she convinced me that I won't even taste the spinach and she was right. The best part is seeing my boys consuming veggies enthusiastically.

If you don't own Vitamix blender; you may use rolling pin to help mixing the ingredients like I do just make sure it doesn't touch the blade. :)

When we have some left over I'd pour them into this Popsicle mold {I loveee this mold, I used to use a cheaper version because I am cheap but had a hard time taking the Popsicle out so no more cheap Popsicle mold.} and freeze them. That way the next day I don't need to make another batch and the boys got to eat the frozen version:
