Homemade Granola
Ingredients:
3 ½ cups rolled oats
1/4- 1/2 cup sliced or chopped almond (optional)
¼ cup light brown sugar
¼ cup coconut oil
¼ cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
a pinch of salt
¼ cup butter
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup raisin
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit
In a big mixing bowl, stir together oats, almonds and chocolate chips.
Toss in the honey, brown sugar, vanilla, salt, butter, and oil. Stir.
Thoroughly greased baking sheet with butter or oil.
Spread the mixture into the prepared baking sheet; Press evenly.
Bake for 15 minutes, remove from the oven, stir, spread out again,
and bake 10 more minutes or until granola is lightly browned.
Remove from oven, let cool completely, add raisin, then store in an airtight container.
